Young British inventor Adam Dixon has won the UK’s inaugural Young Champion of the Earth prize for his horticultural innovation to tackle food insecurity and habitat loss. Business Wales Accelerated Growth Program

In June 2017 Phytoponics was awarded support from the Welsh government’s Accelerated Growth Program. The program offers support for small to medium enterprises that giving them access to coaching, advisory services as well as funding and networking. Phytoponics are very honored and enthusiastic to be among the 1,000 businesses selected for this program. The program is designed to stimulate the growth of Welsh companies, driving investment and development in the country. Phytoponics being a Cardiff developed and based company is committed to driving Welsh innovation and making it a world leader it horticultural innovation and development.

InfoAgro Exhibition

In May we attended InfoAgro, a three day exhibition in Almeria, Spain, which was another opportunity to showcase our innovative hydroponic solution and connect with other agricultural supppliers. Luke & Giorgia represented Phytoponics alongside 177 other exhibitors and over the three days learnt a lot about the potential opportunities and clients which will enable Phytoponics to penetrate the Spanish market in the future.

In May we had the amazing opportunity to attend Seed & Chips in Milan, one of the top food innovation events in the world, which is dedicated to showcasing national and international talent and cutting edge solutions. Startupbootcamp’s demoday

Last Friday, March the 10th, was the big day. We had the amazing opportunity to present our start-up, Phytoponics, at the Startupbootcamp Foodtech Demo day in Rome, sponsored by Cisco.
