We are delighted to announce that we have been chosen by Hello Tomorrow Nonprofit as one of the world’s top 500 deep-tech startups, and will be attending their global summit from 26th – 27th October in Paris.
Hello Tomorrow is a global non-for-profit created by deep tech entrepreneurs to empower and connect the most promising deep-tech enterprises around the world, and accelerate the transfer of breakthrough technologies into real world solutions.
Deep tech solutions are those that have the tremendous potential to transform the world that web technology had fifteen years ago! However, advanced technology startups face very specific struggles compared to web startups, due to their particularly long R&D phase and industrial challenges.
The Hello Tomorrow Challenge seeks out the 50 best start-ups in 10 industries, ranging from Food & Agriculture, to Data and AI. These 500 startups are then invited to attend the HT Global Summit in Paris, an exclusive investor day which gathers a carefully selected crowd of startups, high-level executives, leading investors and visionary entrepreneurs that come together “to build collaborations that produce success”.
The most outstanding and mature projects will be selected to present a keynote on the main stage as well, in front of 800 experts, industrials and top investors. These finalists will be announced on 1st September. This is the 4th edition of the event, in which contestants of previous editions have raised more than $120M of investment.
Phytoponics are proud to have been chosen as one of the top 10 startups in the Food & Agriculture industry which, amongst other criteria, looks for new forms of food production and processing, and projects that reduce the environmental impact of food production. These are two initiatives that are at the heart of Phytoponics’ mission to make fresh produce sustainable and affordable for many.
